Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner

Today is office-chair day. We've hopped from one store to the next,
gathering up enough chairs to outfit my new studio.  It's amazing how
much time it takes to finish each little step.  Stacking chairs and
folding tables are next.  I would have waited a month or two — till we
were closer to our first class or craft-night — but Isaac's good
friend is hosting a workshop for photographers at my office next
weekend, so I've got to hunt down those things a bit sooner. That's
what's goin' on.

Oh, and my dishwasher is hogging up the kitchen floor and its
dish-racks are spread around the counters.  The dishwasher is having
some draining issues, so it's been wrenched from it's nesting place for
a deep cleanse. The kitchen is no-man's-land till we get it fixed.

It's such a Saturday.

  1. But the decorating part is so FUN, isn’t it? I don’t particularly like having to do it under the pressure of a deadline, but the quest is fun when your taste is eclectic, don’t you think?

  2. Woohoo!! Thank you so much!
And sorry about your dishwasher. I think my washing machine is going out. 🙁 Appliances breaking down = no fun!

  3. That elephant picture is the cutest thing in the whole wide world right now! I’m glad you’re getting the office done (call if you want help with the dishwasher).

  4. Heather, I love the felt I ordered. I used it to make a Valentine’s Day vertical garland (6 of them) and they hang in our front room bay window. So fun! Happy {heart} month!

  5. Just testing to see if this posts, since neither of the ones I added for The Vintage Pearl ever appeared. Gotta order a bracelet either way; the jewelry is lovely!

  6. greetings!

  7. I love the elephants, and think they make adorable, fat free valentines! We had a draining issue with out dishwasher, and after some research online found people with similar issues recommended using less soap, so instead of filling both soap cups, just fill one. It has actually totally solved the problem.

  8. OMG OMG OMG… I have been calling girl elephants for years! My son asked what a girl efalump was called and I said “Effie.” He was so taken by it, he never asked me about the boy efalump’s name! Now I can tell him “Ollie!” OMG! thank you soooo much!
