I'm
off to Houston for Quilt Market.  The stars have aligned.  As such, I
am thrilled to debut a new feature fabric collection, a palette of
cotton solids and an assortment of delicious, laminated prints (my
samples arrived at the studio just yesterday).  I also have several
fun, new sewing patterns to share (Henrietta is one of six new patterns).

If you're heading to Market
this weekend, stop on by booth #s 1957,59 for a hello — and a first
peek at my upcoming collection, Nicey Jane™.

Bring smelling salts.  These fabrics may cause fainting — they're stinkin' gorgeous.

  1. can’t wait to BUY them!! Saw the sneaks of Sweet Baby Jamies blog…there was a blue with bits of red and white that caught my eye!!
My mom lives in Houston and says the flu is all over there, so stay healthy!!

  2. Collette patterns are great, but I am so loving your patterns right now! I have made several Marlo Bloom handbags and everyone is flipping out over them. I love your ability to clearly explain the directions and the illustrations and layout of it all is perfection. I wish all patterns were so easy to read and understand. I am a huge fan and look forward to more Heather Bailey patterns. I work for the Bernina store in KC and will definitely have them on my “must have” list for our store.

  3. Have a great time in Houtson, Heather! Can’t wait to see the web reveal of the Nicey Jane line. Smelling salts ready.
P.S. Love the bike in the background (of course).

  4. Oooh wish I could be there but considering how I’d embarrass myself by oohing and ahing and caressing fabric well beyond a healthy level, it’s probably best that I stay here in Cali and go to a local symphony concert with the kidlets. Yes. That’s probably best. 😉 Thanks for your inspiration!

  5. Oh me, oh my…I am so excited I can hardly stand it! I can’t wait to scoop it all up…you might watch your booth extra close! 🙂 See ya at Market! 🙂

  6. Wishing I were headed out on a plane right about now. Quilt Market would be so fabulous! I’m so excited to see all of your new fabrics and patterns. I’m also diggin’ that awesome bike in the background…LOVE it!

  7. Best of luck at Market! So wish I was lucky enough to be there. I CAN’T WAIT to see the new fabric, new patterns…EVERYTHING! I’m sure they are ALL amazing!

  8. Ah…Love your blog and your creations! In Norway it’s dark, cold and stormy these days, so it’s just great to find warmth and inspiration through your designs! Thank you! 🙂

  9. Oh how I wish I could get into the market. Maybe you could accidently drop a tiny square somewhere so I can see it in the public part. I will be looking forward to seeing your line after though.
    Have fun.

  10. Have a great time in Houston. I can’t wait to see the new fabric range, I love fresh cut and pop garden, so I’m sure I’ll love the new range too. 🙂

  11. Heather
I would love to see you but the quilt market is only for bussiness owners…oh!!!
Hey you are welcome to stay in our house:D
    need some help????

  12. Ah quilt market! I was dragged along 5 years ago by my inlaws, and by morning tea I had requested a sewing machine for christmas! I so wish I was there – but I am in Australia, so its a bit far. My inlaws have made the trip though, and I have put in a request for some things from your store, esp the felt! Hope you have some there. Have a great show!!

  13. Finally! I’ve been lurking for weeks expecting a flash of a hint. Thanks! That’ll tide me over for at least a week. How long til they’re in shops? No more than a week, right?

  14. You are a rockstar. My friend just texted me that you really ARE that adorable & your new fabrics & booth = best at market!
