Re-Entry

I'm back from Market and restoring sanity at home — and
cleanliness. My kids kissed me awake yesterday like two little pecking
chicks. It was a contest.

Market photos are still on the road
with Isaac, so I'll save the reporting till he rolls in later today.
I'm excited to be home and thrilled that my long-awaited
bicycle-weather has arrived in AZ at last. It's gorgeous out today.
We're packing a picnic to the park, for sure.

Also, here are a couple of discount codes for you, to shake things up and keep it interesting at The Heather Bailey Store.

  • 20% off of all Trash Tiesâ„¢ with code "TwitTies" (posted on twitter first)
  • 25% off of Freshcutâ„¢ fabric with code "FreshOut" (Freshcut is no longer in production, so get it while you can.)

Discounts available through Monday, October 19th. Both codes can be used on the same order.

It has been a wild few weeks — since Creative Escape,
really. I'm ready to move forward, with lots of design work up next (my
favorite!) — after filling these kids up with love and attention,
picnics and parks, movies and popcorn, haircuts, and a few home-cooked
meals.

Now to resolve my hopelessly-clogged kitchen sink. Next
time I'm tossing the old spaghetti in the trash and not down the
garbage disposal.

  2. Keenly awaiting those pics. I’m sure your glad to be back home. Wish it was picnic weather here too. Hopefully we might get some Autumnal sunshine next week when we have half term.

  3. ohh yeah spaghetti does it all the time, it’s happened to me before! good to hear your back enjoying your babies. Can’t wait to see your lovely new line”nicey jane”! it’s already on my x-mas list to my honey, he asked me to do something for him in the pouring rain yesterday and I con’d him by telling him only if you get me some fabric from HB’s new line, he agreed! Lucky me 🙂

  4. Welcome home! I can’t wait to see all the pics! Your new line looks amazing…can’t wait to get my hands on it!! Enjoy your days of relaxation and fun with your kiddos.

  5. Oh man! I’ve done that with the garbage disposal. What a drag, but also what amazing things you have done this summer! I can not wait for your beautiful fabrics to become available. So excited.

  6. Looking forward to the photos, got a couple of glimpses of nicey Jane on some Market Posts, anxious to see it all!

  7. Booo – I just tried to get some Dittybug in pink/green and it told me its out of stock. I’ve just spent 30 minutes searching the web with no luck. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be! I love, love LOVE your fabrics!!

  8. Mmmm… the park sounds lovely. Over here in So Cal, it’s raining and I just stood outside to watch for a bit. So nice to have a pause after the Houston whirlwind. Hope you and the kids enjoy.

  9. ugh…don’t you hate it when you take leftover spaghetti out of the tupperware and it’s formed this geletin block of noodles? Is that just me who lets that happen? oooh, gross 😉 Here’s to you getting your sink back on track! xo

  10. Ha! I hope the spaghetti comment was a joke! I had no idea that was a “no-no” until late one night while in college I heard my roommate screaming at the top of her lungs…”RAAAAAHHH-BEEEENN!!!!” When I entered the kitchen she was draped head to toe in old spaghetti and whatever else the garbage disposal chose to grace her with. She gave me a nice “heart-to-heart” and I’ve always tossed it in the trash since! 🙂

  11. So looking forward to market photos. I’ve spied yummy peeks of your booth. As for pasta…it turns to glue down the garbage disposal. First hand experience…expensive plumber bill!

  12. I just saw a picture of your booth from the market on Pink Chalk Studio and I think I am in love! 🙂 I especially love that sweet dress you have there. Could you share the pattern?

  13. Your booth at Quilt Market was beautiful, and I love Nicey Jane. You were busy talking with someone when I got there, so I didn’t get to meet you this time. Next year…
I had a similar disposal incident this week with potato skins. However, I got a plumbing lesson from my husband and will be able to fix it all my myself next time.
