Success! Now my baby has a happy little shirt for summertime. And, lucky baby, the need for photos provided a jaunt at the park with her favorite ball. Happy baby, happy mama!
What beautiful photos! At first I thought these were promotional pieces for your new fabric line….Would you mind sharing more info about pattern and embellishments you used? Such style!
Thanks!
That is gorgeous Heather!! Really lovely. 🙂
Is that your pattern? You do such lovely work. Let us know if you are going to make it available if it is!
It looks like our babies are about the same age. Your’s is so beautiful!!
She is adorable! Love how the fabrics come together in this little top, and the buttons are the cutest. And, thanks for sharing your headband pattern. I sewed one for my daughter yesterday and she loves it.
just happened to find your blog when doing a search on Flickr for shoes. happy to find the bitty booties pattern and will try and make some soon. love the top. now I will go and explore your blog 🙂
Well, now, that’s just about the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in a long while. Happy summer, indeed. Nice job…clean lines, excellent fit, and perfect colors!
I love these things:
-The simple design, vibrant colors and details of the shirt (Avocado lace?! Wow! Also love the melon-y trim and buttons)
-Her long eyelashes, little pigtails, dimpled elbows, and cherubic cheeks
-The flower in her mouth, as if she’s about to do some sort of toddler tango 🙂
Heather, this litle top, and your daughter, are absolutely beautiful – you really are very talented..as both a seamstress and a photographer! Inspiring!
Aaaaw…your daughter is soooooo cute! And the little summer shirt is so pretty. Do you remember where you found the fabric? Did you or your husband take the photographs? If so, you should send your portfolio to a baby magazine. They are really are really good pics.
Aw, that is just beautiful. Both the shirt and the little girl. That is exactly the kind of shirt I see myself making but by the time I sketch and cut out the material my sewing skills turn it into something quite different. Bravo!
I love the shirt! Your daughter is cute too:) The design you created is absolutely amazing. I would love to have something just like it for my little 2 year old! Are you publishing any patterns or details on how you made it?
