Introducing another of my new sewing patterns, the Saturday Market Bag. It's a fun and easy sew —
and perfect for toting spring things, like a
picnic blanket and a good book. The pattern includes three options,
including two simpler looks, one of which is reversible. And the sides
of the bag unsnap for additional carrying space, so you can really go to
town. Or to church. Or to market.

I love love love love love this bag! Another winner!
It is a very pretty bag. Once I get my head around the bag I’m currently sewing, I’ll add it to my list (estimated completion date 2023!) .
So cute! I love that is expands. I make BIG bags like this for my daughter, she is gonna love this.
It would be great if the pattern cover or link to the pattern would show the other options. I like to know what I am getting before I spend $ for a pattern. 🙂
I love the bag…and the dress…is there a pattern for the dress???
We’ll add the other images to the store listing. They are on the back of the pattern. We just haven’t gotten to it yet.
Basically, imagine the bag without the bow and you’re there. For a reversible bag, use a different fabric for the interior and skip the interior pocket.
The bag is lovely. I really like the bow; I think it adds a touch of femininity. There is that dress again. I absolutely love that dress. I still have my fingers crossed that soon there will be a pattern for the dress.
holy smokes cuteiness in the house!
Great bag… I totally want to wear that dress!
how about a pattern for that super cute dress!!!
Love the bag, but REALLY love the dress. Is there a pattern??? My daughter needs a dress for graduation in June and church…she would LOVE this one. Please, please tell me there is a pattern.
I am eagerly anticipating my pattern!!!
<3 the bow!
ohhh look at all the cuteness! Love the bag, the dress, the hair,….I am not an experienced sewer, curtains and anything with a straight line is my limit but I would to try this bag!!!
Your model is absolutely gorgeous.
Love it~ it kooks great 🙂
I recently made the Smart Girl Book Bag and can’t wait to make a bunch more for gifts- I know they’re gonna be a hit!
Do you have a flickr group I can post photos of my bag? I used a hodge podge of fabrics so it doesn’t fit in one of the fabric line categories…
my goodness! what a lovely bag. very sophisticated.
Oh, the dress, the dress…
Cute bag–great bow. Love the dress–want the dress. Beautiful model!
Great bag! I really dig the fabric…and the dress too. Do you have a pattern for that? And I guess I’d be remiss if I didn’t say I was shocked my the face of that pretty model. This is just a great photo all around!
Love the bag!! I love the dress too and have since nicey jane came out!! Is it a vintage pattern or something you came up with?
I hear you on the dress! Find me an awesome pattern grader and I’ll comply.
Ok. You know I’m being cute there. Of course I can find my own pattern grader.
What a lovely bag…perfect for when you’re out pottering around the shops on a saturday!
I collect this kind of bag. For girl like me living in a tropical country, this kind of bag is of much use and it fits every day’s activities – going to mall, school, work, gym, beach, picnics and more. It’s trendy and especially has a bigger space to carry your things. Reversible designs are practical.
I am in love with the dress too! I am anxiously awaiting a pattern. Nicey Jane is my current favorite fabric. I bought two yard bundles (14 total) and am having a hard time cutting into them.
Love the bag, Love the dress!
So lovely!
So the dress pattern still isn’t available? Begging for the second time…
I love the bag and the bow… very sweet!
Love the bag congrats on adding yet another stunning pattern to your store
Totally another vote for that dress to turn into a pattern it is beautiful!
I’ll second, or maybe tenth or 15th a motion for a dress pattern! 🙂
Please, Please, Please. You will make big money if you just come out with the dress pattern…..or at least tell us where you got that one. We are all desperate. 🙂
It is a very pretty bag.
Beautiful girl. The bag and dress are nice too but I haven’t seen a pretty girl like that in EVER 🙂
Chiming in here with more love for the dress! Would snap up the pattern in a nanosecond.

Thank you and keep up the brilliant work!

Lovely. And, oh! That dress!
As always, a lovely blog and sweet posts! Thanks!
Nice blog!
I love to sew so much. It’s my “me” time, for a mother of 6 ages 13 and under. I know that sounds crazy! I am so in love with your designs of fabric! And, I totally love your bags! I have a few patterns I’m ready to dive in to. But, I too would absolutely love that dress pattern. Pretty please? 🙂
