Remember Boredom?

It's been another whirlwind of a month. I start every-other post along these lines, don't I?

You'll know I've made some big changes around here if the general
flavor switches to "Not much going on right now," "Nothing new," or "I'm
bored."

Remember boredom? I have a faint, nostalgic sense of it from deep
within my childhood memory—right next to a yellow Plymouth Reliant,
parachute pants and Monchhichi dolls.

I'm back from Quilt Market in Portland and busy wrapping up a new
product line launching in July. I am dying to share it with you.

I'll have photos soon. Call this a whisper. I'll be back with a shout—just as soon as we send the final artwork on its way.

  1. Haha…yes, I sometimes wish I could be bored for a few moments. On another note, I cannot wait for your new line. I’ve been playing with my Pop Garden and Nicey Jane lately and just can’t wait to use your new stuff. So excited!

  2. Did we ever learn the name of your sweet baby boy?? Or did I miss it somewhere long ago? Still so curious about the story of his name;) Can’t wait to see your new line!!

  3. Oh I can’t wait to see the pictures of the new projects!!
Also, I had COMPLETELY forgotten about Monchhichi’s! What a blast from the past!
I hope boredom finds its way to your doorstep for a least a few hours this summer 🙂

  4. They are telling me the whole of it will be done this Friday! (just not the doorway). That means I get to move in this weekend. My cutting table has yet to be ordered – as well as something to put all my fabric stash in and on….and I”m not sure the desks I currently have will work – but we will make do with it all for now and feel it out (for a few months). I can’t find anything anymore. Creating out of boxes is very difficult! lol! I hope you know you have an open invite! -kg

  5. OMG! I actually call my 3 year old nephew my little Monchichi and sing him that song!! He thinks I’m really funny and that I made it up myself.
