I did it.  I snuck in some ‘me’ time and made something I can show — wooly flowers with needle-felted centers.  Of course, just as soon as
the garland was complete, I gave it away.  But, not before I snapped a
couple of photos.

No worries — I have plenty more supplies.  Ahem.  And I can visit her at Ga-Ga for Garlands as often as I please.

  1. You are so wonderfully clever! The colors make me smile. 🙂 Isn’t it the best feeling to give away our creations to friends?!
Erin – who enjoys your blog IMMENSELY

  2. When I saw the garland, I decided to try wool felting. Off I went to the local second hand store. I bought a 100 percent wool sweater, boiled it, dried it on high heat, and nothing happened. It looks the same as when I bought it. Felting must be more difficult than I thought. Back to the beginning! Any suggestions?

  3. They are so sweet. As an avid reader I can see a few of those garlands making very cute bookmarks. You rock!

  4. I LOVE your garlands !!! VERY CUTE !! I love making garlands too — I’ve made one for each season so far. I just happened to do a post with pictures on my blog about garlands the same day (or maybe it was the day before) as you did, then I clicked on your blog, and lo and behold — GARLANDS !! and a link to Ga Ga Garlands !! Thanks (I thought I was the only odd ball making garlands — turns out there are quite a few of us !)
