I was chatting at my baby earlier this week, conspiring with him to
start a Birthday Month tradition for August—as we are the only two
August birthdays in my immediate family. With enough fuss, we'll surely
make the Mays and Januaries jealous. Midst our little tete-a-tete it
dawned on me that I neglected to host my annual birthday giveaway last
year. Boo.

I will now make up for that. Right. About. Now. In the spirit of Birthday Month, how about a GIVEAWAY EVERY DAY for the month of August!? I'm talking about fabric, patterns, jewelry, equipment, supplies, etc.

I know this madness will put me in a swirl, but I don't care. I want
to show you my appreciation. Celebrate with me. And let me celebrate
you. I'll post one new giveaway on my blog each day in August. To enter a giveaway, simple leave a comment on that blog post by 11:59pm PST on the day of the post.
Be sure to enter your email address so we can contact you if you win.
We'll draw a winner at random, send out an email, then announce the
result with an update at the bottom of that post.

  59. Hope you get to celebrate as much as you are sharing with us! Birthday months celebrations are a tradition my grandmother started with our family. Once you hit “adulthood” you are allowed to celebrate the entire month! (As teens were were allowed a week worth of celebrations to prepare us!)

I just discovered you yesterday when I was searching for a tote bag pdf pattern, and I came across your “Garden District – French Ribbon Blue” fabric made in to a gorgeous bag! I then had to search for the fabric and that’s when I discovered you! I am also a lover of the “Where Women Create” magazine and had to look through my stack to find out that I do not have the issue that you are featured in so I plan to rectify that soon – costs for shipping magazines to Canada are astronomical so when I feel I have some extra cash I will definitely be ordering a copy of your magazine! I’m looking forward to spending alot of time catching up on everything I’ve missed on your website – good thing I’m on vacation right now! (I’m also now “stalking” you on FB & Instagram LOL!)

  135. It is fun to dream about the perfect place tolive. I often think that way when I visit Whidbey Island in Washington State. There is something so satisfying about providing all of the things for my family that they need to survive.
