I messed up on the nomination form the first time around. I put URLs where the blogs’ names were supposed to go and had to go back in and copy and paste until I had it right. I should have read the directions first – it really wasn’t that hard.
I think today’s the last day to nominate (until 10pm Eastern Standard), then there’s another round of votes once they have a ballot together. I’m not sure what the big deal is with Bloggies (anyone with Bloggies insight?), but it’s always fun to put a good word in for my friends – I hope you all win! Winning is fun all by itself.
And, voting sure made it clear that I don’t have enough links in my sidebar – I have far more favorites than I’ve pronounced. So, sometime down the line I need to figure out how to make one of those stand-alone links pages. Those are neat.
Mr. Robot is about 3 in. tall and was adopted for a mere 50¢. He came home the same day as these guys. Anyone sensing a trend in my spending habits?
It’s got that Raggedy-Ann / Raggedy Andy thing going on with its nose. Gosh, maybe it’s a she-bot with hairbuns and not a Mister at all.
New name: Raggedy Robot. Forget Mr. Wooden Robot, that’s not working for me anymore.

Just gotta tell you that i have just received my delivery of your fabrics in all 3 colourways. I have been soooo excited waiting for them and was getting worried that i had built them up (in my mind) to be something they couldn’t possibly be – well….they have WAY exceeded my expectations and are soooo beautiful!!! I found a quilt pattern a few months ago and have been keeping my eye out for the perfect pabrics – and i now have them in my grubby lil hands. Will just have to make sure that i don’t drool on them too much before i get my project finished!!! B x

Hooray! Your fabrics finally arrived at our warehouse last week! And, I am happy to report, they are selling VERY well. In fact, we are in need of a reorder already! (of course, I HAD to reserve some of each print for myself before I could even consider selling any of it!) It is stunning! I can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
The robot is adorable, too….I have noticed a toy/childhood-type theme in your recent aquisitions, and it makes me happy to know that someone else is nostalgic for days-gone-by.

maybe you could design us some nice “robot” cool space like fabric…retro inspired with groovy little control panels and some rayguns and lightning bolt stuff? maybe some day? I found some pin up Space girls that’s very adult and fun but not for making an elroy jetson doll….or robby robot! It’s tough to find just the right fabric with enough circles, zigzags whatever…That’s part of the fun though, right?! Have a great day! Kim
