After

ArchAfterB_300Here's the finished remodel. We went ahead and laid down the white flooring from our last tradeshow booth,
figuring we could swap out the flooring in both rooms later on.
However, I'm liking it. It's incredible how much brighter the room is
with a big, white reflector for a floor.

Here's a glimpse of one of our finished work tables
too. They are amazing. Each table is seated onto a rolling platform.
The tables can be lifted off the platforms as needed for classes and
workshops—at some point—or for a myriad of other uses. And they are
tough as nails with a commercial-grade finish.

Now that the sheetrock dust and construction debris  have been cleared out, it's time to get back into artwork. With Project Life under my belt, next up is more fabric. I'm working on completing a couple of new lines for next year. 'Tis true.

  1. It looks beautiful! Love to know how well the white floor stays white, will it need regular mopping- does it take lots of scuffs?
If that project we ever talked about happens I would *love* to teach an intro class with your patterns at your lovely finished studio!

  2. It looks simply wonderful Heather! And great work Isaac – it looks so different! I bet those new work tables are fabulous to have around. Happy birthday to you and your handsome little man this month! I’ve been thinking of you all, wishing your sweet family all the best!

  3. Lindsay! Yay, hi!
You might faint if you saw the room in person. It’s SO nice. In fact, come on over some time. I will pad the floor with soft fabrics to catch your fall.
How was your little girl’s first birthday!?

  4. What I love most about this space is that it is just like your fabrics. A breath of spring. I can almost smell spring whenever I sew with your fabrics. This space must be so refreshing to work in.

  5. That sounds fun! I’ll text you next week to see when is a good time for me to come visit and meet your handsome new little man. Jared is still working a lot of crazy hours, so I’ll probably have my little one in tow also.

  6. So far, so good. They aren’t looking mucked up like I thought they might. Perhaps the dirt wears off our shoes before we make it into this room. We’ll see how it goes over time.
