Two quilt tops done, all bundled up and on their way to The Threaded Pear to be quilted – Gina (Quilter’s Buzz) saves the day! I’m lacking the necessary concentration to write though, so I’ll keep it simple… a photo here, a photo there, a reminder of where I was a couple of days ago, then back to work.

Oh, and thanks for the support! Really. When my mailbox dings, I go Pavlovian for a happy sewing break – so much kindness!

The next few weeks are insane! Isaac has eight weddings in the next seven weeks, Elijah is on school break, Charlotte’s occasional babysitter has gone back to school fulltime, and I’m wading through a steady stream of deadlines (many are self-imposed, I admit).
But, great things are happening. I’ve just gotta keep this pace for three more weeks, then I’ll have myself a lovely, lazy week of pajama days, A.M. Smith, homemade bread, and… dentist appointments. Yep, I scheduled two just yesterday, and I’m actually looking forward to going. Perhaps it’s the idea of sitting still for a bit.

oh wow I can’t wait to see the quilts quilted – the tops look gorgeous. And all so beautifully tied with selvedge ribbon (I love that idea).
The quilt tops look great and that fabric, swoon. When exactly do you think we’ll be able to get some?
Good job. Now get back to work so you can get everything done and you’re able to enjoy you dentist appointment in three weeks. It’s not exactly my idea of a good time, but you seem to be excited by the idea… In all seriousness though, the quilt tops look beautiful. Now quit drooling and get back to work
it all looks lovely can’t wait to see it all quilted and done. Even the scrape pile looks nice to me. I make minuture quilts scrapes smaller than 1 inch are still usuable to me. So that pile looks like a lot of minuture quilts have fun.

I can’t wait to see your tops quilted! The Threaded Pear is the best, I love Gina and Stephanie’s work. And I am anxious for the fabric line to come out. Last night made headbands in Halloween fabric for my DD and her best friend and they’re in law school and working on a PHD, girls every age love those headbands, thanks for patterns! Oh and that knot…my Grandmother taught it to me 50 yrs ago, she said her Uncle came back from WW1 and taught her!
Everytime I see your fabric “made” I get all giddy and can’t wait for my ON RESERVE fat quarter bundle to arrive! Thanks for all the inspiration and the dress from before is FAB!!!!
The quilts look so lovely! All the prints are really looking so great together- nice job!
What a wonderful selection of fabrics.. I can’t wait to get my hands on the prints. Thanks for sharing.
