I did it. I snuck in some ‘me’ time and made something I can show — wooly flowers with needle-felted centers. Of course, just as soon as
the garland was complete, I gave it away. But, not before I snapped a
couple of photos.
No worries — I have plenty more supplies. Ahem. And I can visit her at Ga-Ga for Garlands as often as I please.

your garlands are just gorgeous!
I love these SOOOOOO much! I wish I was the oh-so lucky recipient! Pure beauty!
HI!
It looks like a beautiful ncklace… the combination of colours is great.
bye, manela
Heather — these are perfect. Beautiful colours and textures and such a gorgeous shape.
they are lovely – but why won’t they fray?
Lovely and harmonious.
These are just gorgeous – I like to make little flowers but they certainly never turn out as gorgeous as these.
Those are beautiful! You are so good! 🙂
I would love to see those as trim on a cute skirt!
You are so wonderfully clever! The colors make me smile. 🙂 Isn’t it the best feeling to give away our creations to friends?!

Dang. I love the garland!
so sweet!
You produce some of the coolest things Heather!
Soft and lovely. Would make a darling addition to just about anything!
Beautiful! I’m especially loving that cantaloupe colored one. And that green herringbone is wonderful!
Oh how pretty!
Beautiful! How do you keep the edges from fraying? I’d love to make some of these for scrapbooking.
The wool fabric has been felted a bit which keeps it from fraying – mostly.
These are beautiful!
I just recently found your blog and I love it! Thanks for posting such inspiration!
Oh Heather!! I have horrible wool envy! LOL!

I love the things you just come up with. Very creative.
Any chance of a tutorial on the garland?
O and the colors on your pictures make me so happy !! :):)
gorgeous garland!!!
so, so cute!!
those are so lovely! And I’m so glad to see you finding some time for the ‘fun’ crafting. Ahhh…. Feels good, doesn’t it?
When I saw the garland, I decided to try wool felting. Off I went to the local second hand store. I bought a 100 percent wool sweater, boiled it, dried it on high heat, and nothing happened. It looks the same as when I bought it. Felting must be more difficult than I thought. Back to the beginning! Any suggestions?
Your blog is so neat! I just found it through some of my old college roommates’ blogs. That garland is amazing! I’d love a tutorial too.
So beautiful!!
Any suggestions on where to buy that fabric?
fan.tas.tic!

They are so sweet. As an avid reader I can see a few of those garlands making very cute bookmarks. You rock!
I LOVE your garlands !!! VERY CUTE !! I love making garlands too — I’ve made one for each season so far. I just happened to do a post with pictures on my blog about garlands the same day (or maybe it was the day before) as you did, then I clicked on your blog, and lo and behold — GARLANDS !! and a link to Ga Ga Garlands !! Thanks (I thought I was the only odd ball making garlands — turns out there are quite a few of us !)
