Super Tuesday + Fat Tuesday = Super Fat Tuesday!
Now that’s something to celebrate. Seriously though, go vote. Stop
browsing the computer, put down your work or play, pack up your kids if
you must and go vote in The Primaries. There are a few clowns running
for U.S. President this year. Though they might be entertaining in the
role, I must say Down with Clowns in this case. Go vote for someone
who’s not a clown — whichever non-clown suits you best, but vote.

Thank you for encouraging others to vote. I agree about the “clowns” and am in WI and cannot vote. But I am a news/political junkie and I am glad to see another “creative” blogger talking about it.
Ha! I called my post “super fat” today as well. I get to vote next week. I will not be voting for a clown.
I concur…Down With Clowns! DWC!
I love the beady/vote image! Perfect for today!
I can’t vote Oregon is not part of Super Tuesday. I do enjoy your little bead work image.
I just realized that those beads look like pearls or something. They were colorful Mardi Gras beads I turned black & white. I thought I was so clever.
After spending 2 hours in the voting line I now care even more than I did earlier today and am glued to the election coverage on tv. Makes me want to post signs in my yard and on my car and on my forehead. There was some snafoo with zipcode changes in our area that made a absolute circus of the polls. Clowns, circuses, what’s up?
I couldn’t vote yesterday, we have a different system in Louisiana and we don’t vote on Super Tuesday. However, i did vote several weeks ago for our delegates, who will vote. I don’t think my guy has a chance, but you never know and he did much better last night than I thought he would : ) It is getting harder and harder to find non-clowns to vote for : (

yes, if you kept the beads green, purple and yellow then we would have figured it out, but hey nothing wrong with a little creativity!

We did indeed vote–we always do. My husband and I like to keep up with what’s going on and discuss the pros/cons of each candidate. Then we go to the polls together when he gets home from work. We never do the mail-in ballot unless he’s out of state/country for work.
I vote next Tuesday. Sadly, relatives in New Mexico were unable to vote on Super Tuesday because they could not wait in line for hours. The voting there was a total mess! And NM STILL has not finished counting the votes that were cast!!!! So Un-democratic!!
Ah very good! Not voting has an impact on you, your countrymen and many, many others around the world!
Great combination of titles!!! I did vote for my favorite clown – I’m not sure it did any good!!! I enjoyed reading your blog!!!

We don’t vote until the first Tuesday in March here in Vermont (Town Meeting Day), so by then it will be all over except the cleanup. At least I get a say in local politics.
Love the image. I stayed home sick on Fat Tuesday so no beads for me this year.
Here in Australia it’s different – it’s compulsory for everyone over 18 to vote!
So I’m just perusing your blog, revisiting some of your posts. We just watched the stupidest movie ever and I wanted something better to fill my brain with before I fake sleep. These are literally the last words I just spoke to sleeping Dave. “Heather is a genius. Look at these pictures. This is beautiful. This one should be a magazine cover. She is brilliant.” I realized that Dave, in his flu induced coma wasn’t listening, and instead I should pass along my amazement and awe to you. I love you!!

When I talk to some of my friends about politics and they say “I’m not really in to that.” I want to scream! Still love them though. 🙂
Hi, Heather! I just have to tell you how much I loved the Mary Engelbreit Home Companion magazine article & that I made your paper globes as decorations to hang from my dining room chandelier for Easter. I used odds & ends scrapbook paper in bright & pastel easter colors that my daughter had given me to play with. They turned out beautiful & my family loved them so much they asked me to keep them up for a while! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents so freely.
