Hey all, there’s a Trash Ties giveaway going on at Sweet Life in the
Valley. And April’s listed out a few ways you can increase your odds
while you’re at it : )
I’m working on the cover story for the holiday
issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine. All of my photo mojo is going
into that right now. I’ll see if I can slip a sneak peek into an
upcoming post. Who knew you could make Christmas out of such
Spring-i-ness? I offered my doubts, but Creating Keepsakes urged me
on. I’m glad they did. I’ve got some kick-A Christmas projects here
now.

And I haven’t forgotten about the giveaway for the La
Fleur Debris brooches. I read through the first 300 or so entries on
my birthday, but haven’t had time to pour over the rest just yet. I
truly must read and consider them all. I promise to get that bit of
fun resolved in the next few days.
The La Fleur Debris pattern is now available though. It’s so cute and little — like dvd-size. I want to coo at it.

La fleur debris pattern certainly is gorgeous! I was really excited to see it in the box of patterns I ordered from your shop when it arrived this week. A lovely surprise thankyou! 😀
The pattern is adorable! You’re so creative =D
I’ll be excited to see what you come up with for the magazine! I too am working on christmas projects, I agree it is a bit challenging, especially when it is still 100+ outside!
I can’t wait to see your Christmas projects…I love projects that aren’t traditional colors for Christmas!
It makes me so happy when I visit your site and there is another post! I went to join the giveaway for the Trash Ties, but I live in Canada, so she won’t ship it here. Now I am sad. I suppose I will just have to buy some to make me happy again!
I received this pattern from Heather’s website and loved it. I too can’t wait to see what’s in store for Christmas.
looks like you have been a very busy bee!! I have recently gone back to work after taking a month off this summer to be with the boys and cannot seem to get back into the groove. I will look out for the magazine, I have designed for scrapbooking but never have the time to do it myself how ironic is that. Have you used any of your scrap products for that yet? I am curious to see if others have.
ooooooooo i just received my box of fabrics and my fleur debris pattern. i love it all… so exciting to have in my hot little hands. now…..hmmmmmmmm what to do with it all, aside from touching and looking ..:)
You are truly amazing, I wish I had the time to craft and create, I envy you, it must be a wonderful life!
I just had to tell you that I finally cut into some of my beautiful fabric (I’ve been hoarding it) for a birthday giveaway on my blog! I still have lots left for a future quilty project…I love it!
My pincushion pattern arrived today! *squeeeeal!* I can’t wait to give it a go. After 20 minutes or so of drooling over the pattern, I checked the envelope again before I tossed it into the recycling bin and discovered a pattern for La Fleur Debris as well! What a lovely surprise! Thankyou so, so much. xxxx
Just discovered your blog, and just have to tell you that I love it!!! You put a big smile on my face with all your wonderful stories, pictures and ideas!! I’ll be back!!:)
Such a sweet little pattern. Your pattern covers are the coolest! I’d like to decorate my studio with them.
Beautiful!
But please don’t use such skinny models. For a mother of 3 daughters I find it disturbing to glamorize girls who look so unhealthy. one especially is just skin and bones.
I smile every time a new post of yours pops up in bloglines! Thanks!
OMG thanks soooo much for the rec on Sugar Magnolia restaurant in Charlotte!!! (I don’t know how to insert Queen crown here, oh, well!) It was fantastic! I took my sister, BIL and all five of our kids there and we all loved it! Your Pop line is even more fab in person!
I just got my pincushion pattern and strawberry kit in the mail and was pleasantly surprised to see a La Fleur Debris pattern too!!! Thank you thank you!!! Being that I’m 9 months pregnant, I look forward to having small projects to work on when I am up for hours in the middle of the night! Can’t wait to see what you come up with next!
Amazing designs! I love the style and unique color combinations. I’m bookmarking you for future inspiration!
I am looking forward to making this, but after placing my order on the 4th I still haven’t received it? 🙁
I love your fabric and your designs, you are such an inspiration to me, and have made me kick it in gear to design and create my own patterns. Thanks HB! Love your stuff! xxoo
