  1. Hi, I’m fairly new to your blog and just spent some time reading over some of your posts. I really enjoyed getting to know you. Just wanted to say hi and that I’ll be back to see what’s new. Oh and great find on ebay! Hope it’s as good as it looks!

  2. Heather, I really enjoyed your magazine article.
You are so inspiring. I have your complete scrapbooking line and have shared Heather Bailey with my family and friends!

  3. Super cute, Heather! I love it! In fact, I have been on ebay searching for vintage embroidery all night! FUN! I want to make a pillow with a fun embroidery, too.
    Take care,
    Laurie

  4. eBay is my favorite place to shop right now!!! I scored a $200 diaper bag for $30 – how sweet is that?!
    What a GREAT find Heather!!!

  5. Darling! I love Ebay too, but never bought embroidered things there. I mostly buy vintage patterns, fabrics, trims, and then shoes to go with the outfits made from the patterns, fabrics, and trims.
Please post a photo of your grass green loft. When I was a kid in the 70s, my bedroom was grass green and lemon yellow. Oh so 70s! But I chose grass green for the carpet because it made sense to have green carpet when you play “Barbie goes camping”. Very practical, don’t you think?
    But I love your designs!
Are you planning on putting out the patterns of the outfits from the Mary Engelbreit Home Companion magazine story about you? I loved them all!

  6. Oh, that’s awesome! How fun! After years of being annoyed by gratuitous cross-stitch and needlepoint pieces, I’ve rediscovered a love for the craft especially when it’s really the best medium for a particular item. I love the rough geometric nature of these flowers. Nice find. =)

  7. Awesome colors! I love those finds!….I have a question for you….would you be interested in doing an interview through email about how you got started as a designer? It is something I would like to do someday so I like to hear people’s stories. I would post it on my blog for a link back to yours.

  8. It’s beautiful!!! I’m just sorry I didn’t see it first!! 🙂 It reminds me of your designs and colours… Very lovely! samm

  9. I have that EXACT needlepoint! Back in the late 70’s my mother had quit smoking and she used needlepoint as a means to help with not having a cigarette in her hand, thus creating this exact needlepoint! I will have to dig it out and display it proudly, as I know you will. Have fun.

  10. Ooooh. I can see why you are just a bit proud of your find. Scrumptious.
Do you yet know where it will go? Or are you trusting it will find it’s place eventually?

  11. That is pretty cool~ I believe I have the same needlepoint project in my closet~ I need to dig it out and see if it is the same~ Different colors, but the flowers look oh so familiar! I would have stitched it in the 70’s or 80’s… I never framed it…
