I'm scattered like these buttons between a bevy of projects. It
looks like they will all be wrapped up around the same time. I'm
finishing up several new patterns, an assortment of kits, a contract
for a new product line (!!!), and so on. (More on these soon.)
Next
week I'll be at Creative Escape getting raspy from eight-hour days in
front of a large crowd of crafters. I'm hoping my loud, floral apron
will distract everyone from the dark circles under my eyes. That, and
under-eye concealer. Anyone have a favorite brand of concealer to
recommend? I'm planning ahead.
I still need to do my annual
birthday giveaway. I've decided to wait till I release some of the new
goodies I've been developing. That way the prize will be fresh &
exciting. Ya, just you wait. I haven't forgotten.
Also, I've
posted a handful of blackbird necklace charms for purchase. Since my
Laura No Peeky post, a ton of you have asked where to get one. I did
my research. It turns out it's a discontinued design, so I decided to
get what was left & just post them. They're $3.50 each. And I
only have 20 of them. When they're gone, they're gone.
Off to a
ridiculous, private bead sale this evening with my sister. I'll be
shopping for doll eyeballs. Very exciting. I'm sure I'll be tempted by more glamorous things though.
Update: The blackbird pendants are all spoken for. I do have a similar pendant I'll post soon. It's floral. I'll take a photo & let you know when they're up.

MAC concealer!!! might not be a wholly serious question, but I love my MAC concealer soooo much that I couldn’t resist. Whenever I don’t wear it, folks ask me if I had a rough night. SO, when I’m ill, I don’t wear it- you know, for maximum sympathy! Who wants to look perky when some virus is having its way with your system?

Burt’s Bees Eye Cream is amazing! It really does reduce the puffiness! My favorite concealer is Joe Blasco dermaceal light 🙂
I love Boi-ing concealer by Benefit! Can’t do without it.
I’m in love with all of the Bare Escentuals line. I don’t even need concealer anymore with their foundation (and I have mild rosacea) and it doesn’t look or feel like I’m wearing make-up. . . but if you DO want concealer, they have great ones.
I use MAC cosmetics pretty exclusively, but I only use cheap 99 cent Wet-n-Wild or NYC concealer from Target…I love the little stick kind and it works and stays on really great! (I know there are probably worlds of bad about cheap cosmetics…but this is the only item I use from these brands!)
Mary Kay’s Facial Highlighter Pen – shade two.
Good luck with all the upcoming fun!
Sorry, no concealer to recommend since I am not a make-up genius. But your Creative Escape sounds marvelous. And your fans will adore you no matter what you look like.
Have fun and I hope you find your doll eyeballs.
Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer from Lancome is the best concealer I have ever found for the dark circle I have under my eyes. Good luck!
Can’t wait to see your new goodies! Thumbs up on Benefit Bo-ing. It’s at Sephora at SanTan…
All sounds awesomely exciting! Cant wait for the new items to pop up. I love your blog. It perks me up with all the fun colors and all the delicious designs! Looking forward to the next post.

I’m seconding the MAC recommendation. You have been a busy girl! Can’t wait for you to reveal your latest projects!
MAC definitely! And I have tried a lot. It is by far the best, a little goes a long long way
I second the Mary Kay facial highlighting pen shade 2. It is very light and a light refractor. Mary Kay concealer is also a gret product. I also love their soothing eye gel with cucumber extract. It depuffs tired eyes in minutes.
I love my Urban Decay 24/7 concealer, and that was also picked as an Editor’s Favorite at Allure magazine. It’s a fat crayon, very soft and easy to blend, plus it’s not too pink or too yellow like some of them. Can’t wait to see your new projects! I have some slipcovers to make for a VERY ugly chair and am holding off getting fabric until I see your new line. (Please hurry – it really is ugly.)
i also love the Mary Kay concealer. highly recommended.
My FAVORITE concealer of all time is Erase Paste by Benefit. I love Benefit cosmetics anyways, because they have adorable packaging and cute names… but I have pretty bad circles on a regular basis, and I just LOVE this concealer!
Ulta cosmetics carries Dermablend, the most pigment-heavy concealer ever. If it can cover portwine birthmarks, it can cover most anything else.
For years I’ve used Pan Stick by Max Factor. I actually had to order it online this last time…. love it!
boing by benefit is the best hands down. It took me YEARS to find it and now I can’t live without it 🙂
Pretty cool
The best concealer I’ve used (and I’m 62, so I’ve tried a lot) is by Arbonne. I’m not kidding, if I could put that stuff all over my face I would. It is great. If you want some, Arbonne has a website. It’s good.
