I had the best time bead-shopping with my mom & sister last night.
We clucked and cooed over each other's finds and left with an
assortment of big plans. We hurried back home afterward & sent the
men out to a movie together. Now to plan a jewelry night. I'll
probably have to wait a week or two — if I can stand it. We'll see.
As promised, I posted the floral pendants I mentioned yesterday. They're similar to the blackbird pendant,
maybe a tiny bit less shiny. Same material though. These are also
a discontinued design; I was only able to get my hands on twelve. Here they are.
I love bead shopping! I’m pretty sure I’ve exceeded my budget for this year and I definitely need to get to work! So many ideas and so little time.
My interest is peaked, I’ve never really been interested in beads, but I love what you’ve been showing us!!

The new flower pendant is lovely! The shiny bird one was so inspiring that I made a similar necklace for MY best friend’s birthday gift.
I was wondering…would you mind doing a tutorial for the sweet fabric gift bag you wrapped Laura’s in? I tried to do something similar, but it wasn’t nearly as fantastic as yours.
I used these same pendants for some earrings – I’m actually wearing them today!
