So, guess what! I have a new collection of planners and calendars at
Target stores nationwide. True story. And they're gorgeous.

I worked with Mead—the
company we all know for their awesome back-to-school supplies,
notebooks, office organization, etc. What a great company to work with.
It's business love.

If you’re getting organized for the new year, like I am, go get one
of my new planners. There are a number of different styles and sizes,
including prints and solids:  pocket planners, purse-sized Hbtargetplanners,
desk planners, wall calendars. Several of the designs have a full-month
view, followed by a week-by-week view—which is the bomb, as far as
planners go.

(There is one design which makes a fantastic daily journal. I'll take more photos and show you what I mean.)

It’s months of work to put together a new collection like this. And then, BOOM!,
one day the news explodes in a post. Like fireworks.
Come to think of it, I started on this line before I was pregnant with
our baby and the collection hit stores more than a year after he was
born. In effect, birthing a new planner collection takes just about as
long as it does to gestate a baby elephant.

So, next time you’re at Target, go have a look. And while you’re in the
planner section, straighten up the area for me, will you? And tell
someone else in the aisle—“See this gal here, Heather Bailey, I know
her.” Then, go suggest to your friends that they need spiffy new
planners too.

  22. Your planners are so fun and cheerful. I would like one for my daughter who just moved from Boston to Gilbert with her husband and 2 1/2 children (#3 due in July). She needs a kick to get started on the rest of her life. Maybe a creative planner will get her moving. We enjoy following your blog together.

  48. So lovely! My BFF works on top secret stuff, and can’t take any electronic devices into work with her, so she has to use a planner to track all of her meetings, etc. I’ll have to point her in the direction of these – I’m sure she’ll appreciate the chance to pretty up her planner 🙂

  116. These are really cool planner, calendars, etc. I do love these kind of things. I’m a retired teacher and can never get it out of my system. Love to keep up with dates and notes on paper no matter how may electronics I might have. Thanks for the give away.

  151. I have one and let me tell you TRULY AMAZING!! YOU WON’T REGRET BUYING ONE!!!
    Love the design, the colors and it has plenty of space to write on each day. It is not bulky at all so its perfect to carry around in my bag, i hate bulky big planners that take up space and add unnecessary weight so this one was perfect!!

    I love your designs, and I bought one of your planners, however when I started putting some dates in the later months in the year, I found the following:
    Everything is fine until May 2013. On the left page, it has Wednesday starting on the 1st but then on the right page, the 2,3,4 are non existent. Then on the left page May 5 is on Sunday. There goes 5,6,7,8… but on the right page it says…. 6,7,8. Then, once I turn past the month overview, the next page is June 2013’s weekly section. Monday June 3. Then, June’s monthly calendar appears to be June on the left side, but July’s calendar on the right side. After June’s month, there are no weeklies for June (because they are in May’s section) instead, there’s July. July 2013 has half of September and half of October I believe (theres Halloween!)
    So… Basically, after April, my entire calendar put together incorrectly.
    Who should I contact to get a new one?

  155. I bought one of these planners last year at Target I love it!!!!!!! I want one for 2014 but there are none at Target and I can not find them on Targets website either. Where can I get one???

  157. I’m looking for a refill for my planner beautiful brown and pink. Are the refills available at Target as well? I looked in my local store and of course, since it’s the beginning of the school year, planners were basically out of stock.
